For the Whenuapai Airbase project, Liquid Electrical Limited undertook the installation of a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) and associated control cabling, demonstrating our expertise in complex electrical systems and infrastructure upgrades. This project was meticulously planned and executed to enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of the airbase's pump systems.

Key Features:

• Advanced VSD Installation: The core of the project was the installation of a new circuit from the switchboard to the VSD and subsequently to the motor. This included the integration of a 6mm 5Core Circular TPS Cable, essential for the VSD's operation, ensuring precise control and efficiency of the motor speeds based on demand.

• Comprehensive Control Cabling: Alongside the VSD setup, we installed 1mm 3Core Flex cabling and 32mm PVC glands to facilitate robust and reliable connections. This meticulous cabling work was crucial for the seamless stop/start control of the VSD, enhancing the system’s responsiveness and stability.

• Electrical Safety and Efficiency Enhancements: The project incorporated a 32A 3Pole D Curve MCB and an S332EM Switched Isolator, underscoring our commitment to electrical safety and efficiency. These components were vital in providing secure and manageable power distribution to the VSD system.

• Professional Labor and Services: Our team of electrical tradesmen was responsible for the comprehensive installation, testing, commissioning, and livening of the VSD system. Their expertise ensured that the system was not only installed according to the highest standards but also fully optimized for operational excellence.
